Stanley and Grace Ushe both are ordained Elders in the church of the Nazarene
Rev Stanley Ushe was born and raised in Zimbabwe and got saved at the age of 17 during a Easter Camp, then called to Pastoral ministry at the age of 21. Stanley is married to Rev Grace Ushe and are blessed with two children and two granddaughters. Rev Grace was saved at the age 13 and has served in different levels of leadership in the church.
Stanley attended theological training at Zimbabwe Nazarene Bible College and did further his education in Children’s ministry, Business management and human resources management. Grace is a holder of Bachelor Degree in Theology acquired through Nazarene Theological College in South Africa. The Ushe’s pastoral ministry started in 1992 in Zimbabwe where they pastored Kwekwea church of the Nazarene for 4 years, then moved to South Africa in 1996 to the Eastern District where they planted New Creation church of the Nazarene which they pastored for 7 years. In 2003 they were appointed a DS for Highveld District which they served for almost a year. Then in 2004 they were appointed as DS for Kwazulu Natal District which they have served for 18 years, whiles serving as a DS in Kwazulu Natal Stanley was also appointed to serve as Ds for Lesotho for two years.. Stanley has served the church in various positions which includes being the chair of board of Trustees of Nazarene Theological College South Africa, General board Member, District Superintendent of 3 different district, National board Member. Grace served as a member of women Extravaganza in South Africa, worked with women at both local and district levels, passionate of children’s ministry and served in district boards such as Credentials board, and Ministerial Study board.
Stanley and Grace has served in a cross-cultural context and demonstrated great conflict management and leadership skills, both are passionate for evangelism, church plant, children’s ministry and leadership development.
The Ushes felt a call to missionary service in 2010 and since then the Lord has been preparing them to serve, recently they were appointed as Field strategy coordinators for East Africa/Horn of Africa starting from the 1st of January 2023.
