Dr. Miguel is a pastor and ordained elder in our denomination. He has served in different roles for many years, including being a District Superintendent and pastor. He is a psychologist graduated from the University of Costa Rica and he also has a Master Degree in Business Administration oriented to Human Resources from the National University in San Diego California.

Irene is also a pastor and an ordained elder in the church. She has served together with her husband in the different ministries. She completed her Theological Education in SENDAS, Costa Rica. And in that same institution, she got a Master's of Science in Religion with emphasis in Family Counseling.

Together they have 2 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.

A few years ago, God called them to serve as full time missionaries and now they both lead the regional ministry: Family Care. They teach and support families and couples at every level, especially missionaries, district superintendents and pastors. They are also part of the SENDAS faculty and they are in charge of the District Superintendents Academy to help and develop new superintendents throughout the region.

They both are members in Casa de Oración Church of the Nazarene in San José Costa Rica from where they travel to the different countries in the region in favor of the family.

El Dr. Miguel es un pastor y presbítero ordenado en nuestra denominación. Él ha servido por muchos años en diferentes cargos, incluyendo Superintendente de Distrito y Pastor. Él es un psicólogo graduado de la Universidad de Costa Rica y también tiene una Maestría en Administración de Empresas orientada a Recursos Humanos de la Universidad Nacional en San Diego, California.

Irene también es  pastora y ha sido ordenada como presbítero. Ella ha servido junto con su esposo en los diferentes ministerios. Completó la educación teológica en SENDAS y en la misma institución, estudió una Maestría en Ciencias de la Religión orientada al Cuidado Familiar.

Juntos tienen 2 hijos, 2 nueras, 2 nietos y 2 nietas.

Hace unos años, Dios los llamó a servir nuevamente a tiempo completo y ahora ambos dirigen el ministerio regional llamado Cuidado Familiar, que enseña y apoya a familias y parejas en todos los niveles, especialmente misioneros, superintendentes de distrito y pastores. También fungen como profesores en SENDAS ocasionalmente y están a cargo de la Academia de Excelencia para Superintendentes para ayudar y formar a los nuevos superintendentes de toda la región.

Ambos son miembros de la Iglesia del Nazareno Casa de Oración en San José, Costa Rica, desde donde viajan a los diferentes países de la región en favor de la familia.
