Serving In

Just a regular person following a pretty big calling while trusting in a God who does really big things

Emily felt a call to missions as a young child sitting in the front row of her little hometown church listening to visiting missionaries. As Emily became more involved in NMI at her local church, she felt the call toward missions grow stronger. While it took some years for that call to bring her abroad, she feels that it was all in God’s perfect timing.

Emily has spent the last couple of years as a Nazarene Global Missionary in the Eurasia Region, working in various regional and local roles mainly relating to finance, communication, and kids + youth ministry. It’s during this time that she has realized her passion for working with young people as well as continuing to tell stories of what God is doing through engaging, visual content. She is excited to begin her role as NYI and Communications Coordinator for the Central Europe Field as well as continue to be part of the Regional NYI and Communications teams.

Emily loves being creative, being outdoors with her dog Riley, photographing their adventures, and traveling the world both solo and with friends. Prayers are always welcomed. And if you’d like to stay up to date on her adventures in missions, you can click the follow button above to subscribe to her newsletter!

Galatians 6:4-5

The Message- Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.
