"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,
knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain." Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you
know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless."
1 Corinthians 15:58, ESV
Praise God, for calling us in His ministry!
I am Rev. Arnel L. Piliin, serving as missionary in the Philippines. I am presently, assigned as Field Strategy Coordinator for Phil-Micronesia Field. My wife is Rev. Inocencia S. Piliin. She serves as Mission Manager in the office of Phil-Mic. Field, she is also in-charge as coordinator for Women’s Clergy. She is zealous in developing community service through compassionate ministry and mission school.
My wife and I were both ordained as ministers under the Church of the Nazarene. I was serving the church as the District Superintendent of Metro Manila for 10 years before we were called as missionaries. While I served as DS of the Metro Manila, Philippines, my wife served as a Senior Pastor of New Hope Church of the Nazarene. We have 3 Children. My eldest is Arscent Grace married to Ralph and lives in Canada. My second daughter is Rachel Ann. She works as an Admin. Coordinator at Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary. My youngest
is Arnel John. He is 15 years old and still studying as a high school student here in the Philippines.
With the ministry vested upon us by our Lord, My wife and I have the vision;
to plant more churches
to develop more lay workers
to strengthen the churches.
Indeed, the service appointed to us is enfolded with God’s wisdom and provision. Thus, together, we will work and accomplish the vision and the mission laid to us. My wife, Rev. Inocencia, will continue to pledge, plan and conduct activities related to mission school. She will coordinate with the local churches to amplify the outreach ministry through teaching Sunday school, extension classes in different area and Bible study. She will also reinforce the compassionate ministry by a feeding program tied up with the local churches.
From those initiatives, the love of the Lord would start to be established to people. Church planting will arise in those mission areas. We believe that the more people who listen and know more about God, the more people who commit and devote themselves to the ministry of the Lord. More workers will be called and be developed. They, as additional lay workers, laymen and pastors will be needed to support the new planted churches. To help them, we will create programs that will conduct trainings and seminars that will upgrade, reinforce, and develop our laymen, lay workers and pastors. With them, the churches will continue to be strengthened. My wife and I will not be weary to ask for God’s wisdom, provision and strength as we continue to fulfill His vision and mission! His faithfulness never leaves us because… God worked! God works continuously! God will work continually!
