The Nazarene Church entered the country of Croatia over 25 years ago. Throughout those years, the Church of the Nazarene has journeyed with our neighbors and engaged in discipleship, evangelism, and compassionate ministry in a variety of ways. This has looked like church services in public parks, Bible studies in homes, and refugee ministries in a repurposed bakery.

After several years of searching for a permanent home and ministry center for the Nazarene Church, a building was finally purchased in January 2026! This new ministry space will allow our expanding faith community to more deeply engage the capital city of Zagreb through a permanent space that will allow us to put down roots as a neighborhood church. This new property is easily accessible, large enough for our growing community, allows us to facilitate the growth of our children's ministry, and will provide new ministry opportunities for our local church - and future church plants.

The next step in this journey is raising the necessary funds to renovate this ministry space.

By donating towards this project, you will be a pivotal partner in the construction process that will see a multiple-decade prayer finally answered: a long term, sustainable center of ministry for the Church of the Nazarene in Croatia!

The ministry property, once completed, will immediately benefit those regularly attending our worship services and weekly activities. Many of those attending are from the asylum-seeking community and this better location will help them participate more frequently in the life of our local church. Additionally, this property will be used as a district center in the future as the Lord continues to grow the Nazarene Church in this pioneer area.
