Nazarene Border Initiative exists to Encourage, Empower and Equip volunteers, local churches and future missionaries with the purpose of expanding God’s Kingdom through churches and new ministries.
There are numerous opportunities to serve along the U.S. border, working with both English- and Spanish-speaking ministries in various cities. Through the Nazarene Border Initiative (NBI), teams can engage in meaningful projects that support local churches and communities.
Teams will stay at NBI’s Wenda House, which accommodates up to 60 people and offers the flexibility of a fully equipped commercial kitchen or the option to hire a cook.
Service opportunities include:
• Construction Projects – Assist in building and renovation efforts for NBI facilities or local churches.
• Community Outreach – Partner with local churches to serve and support their communities.
• Children’s Ministry – Bring hope and joy to some of El Paso’s most vulnerable children.
• Medical Missions – Provide essential care alongside healthcare teams in border communities.
Each ministry experience is customized to fit your team’s strengths and goals. Whether through hands-on labor, compassionate outreach, or medical service, your team can make a lasting impact in the border region.
Please consider joining us in making a difference along the border!
