The Bangladesh Leadership Development Project is designed to equip pastors, lay leaders, and emerging leaders with the practical skills and spiritual formation needed to strengthen the Church of the Nazarene throughout Bangladesh. As the church continues to grow, there is a critical need to develop sustainable local leadership, strengthen discipleship, reinforce Nazarene identity, and reduce dependence on outside trainers.
This project will provide ongoing leadership development through regional workshops, training conferences, mentoring relationships, and coaching. Participants will receive practical instruction in biblical preaching, discipleship, servant leadership, holiness, spiritual formation, and church leadership. Using a multiplication model, district leaders will equip local church leaders, who will in turn mentor and develop new leaders within their own congregations. Funding will support transportation, lodging, meals, training materials, translated resources, and other costs necessary to make leadership training accessible across the district.
The vision is to see a new generation of spiritually mature, Christlike leaders serving healthy, growing, and multiplying churches throughout Bangladesh. As pastors and lay leaders become better equipped, they will strengthen local congregations, disciple future leaders, and build a sustainable culture of leadership development. Ultimately, this project will help establish churches that are rooted in holiness, united in mission, confident in their Nazarene identity, and increasingly self-sustaining as they faithfully make Christlike disciples throughout the nation.
