This project addresses the growing need for gospel-centered, disciple-making communities in major capital cities across the Eurasia Region. Many of these urban centers—shaped by migration, secularism, and rapid cultural change—have little or no access to authentic Christian community and discipleship. At the same time, districts often lack the resources, personnel, and specialized training needed to effectively plant churches in these complex urban environments.

To respond to this need, the project will deploy CAUSE Pioneer Teams into selected capital and major cities throughout Eurasia. These teams will focus on holistic ministry through discipleship, compassion, and evangelism while engaging local communities in relational and culturally relevant ways. Funding will support the recruitment, training, and deployment of pioneers, including housing, travel, language and cultural immersion, and seed funding for new discipleship groups and worship gatherings. Working alongside district leadership, teams will serve in two-year assignments designed to establish sustainable ministry foundations.

The vision is to see new disciple-making communities planted in cities where Nazarene presence is currently weak or nonexistent. Through compassionate outreach and intentional discipleship, migrants, students, professionals, and families will encounter the Gospel and become part of thriving faith communities. The project also aims to identify and equip local leaders who can continue and multiply the work long after the initial pioneer teams transition out. Ultimately, these capital-city churches are envisioned as future sending hubs—strengthening the Church’s long-term mission and influence throughout Eurasia.
