The Mpholonjeni Church of the Nazarene, established in 2011 in the Eswatini Central District, has made significant progress in constructing its church building, with much of the work completed by the local congregation. Having broken ground in 2023, the church is now seeking support to complete the roofing—an essential step toward making the facility fully functional for worship and ministry.
Finishing the structure will provide a welcoming and protected space for gatherings, allowing the church to better serve its growing community. With additional space, the church will be able to expand Sunday school programs for all age groups, engage more members in active ministry, and host district events such as competitions, camps, and trainings. A completed building is also expected to encourage increased attendance, particularly among local residents who currently travel elsewhere to worship.
More than just a physical structure, this project represents a spiritual investment in a rapidly developing community. The church envisions becoming a vibrant, multicultural congregation where people encounter Christ, grow in holiness, and are equipped to reach others. As a visible and welcoming presence, the completed facility will serve as a beacon of hope—helping fulfill the Great Commission by meeting the spiritual, social, and relational needs of the community.
