Mobilizing Child Discipleship is a nationwide initiative designed to strengthen and equip children’s ministry across local churches in the USA and Canada. The project seeks to create environments where children can explore their faith, encounter the love of God, and begin a lifelong journey with Jesus Christ. By providing essential discipleship tools, including devotionals, curriculum connected to the Becoming Christlike Disciples sermon series, and Half-Million Mobilization Call to Prayer materials, this initiative fills a critical gap in children’s ministry resources. These materials help churches engage children in meaningful spiritual conversations, encourage family discipleship at home, and support consistent faith formation.
This project also partners with regional Child Discipleship Advocates Trey and Candice Brooks, who help train, encourage, and resource local church leaders. Their role strengthens the support network for congregations, ensuring lay leaders have practical tools and guidance to disciple children effectively.
The vision driving this initiative is to see a vibrant movement of young believers transformed by the gospel. With a faith-filled goal of seeing 65,000 children come to Christ this church year, the project underscores the vital place of children’s ministry in the mission of the Church. Ultimately, Mobilizing Child Discipleship seeks to guide children toward a strong foundation of faith, one that lasts into adulthood, reflecting the promise of Proverbs 22:6 and the heart of the Church to nurture the next generation of disciples.
