The Nazarene “Ron Farris” Social and Medical Center was established in 1989 to provide basic healthcare for low-income families in the Andokoi community and surrounding neighborhoods. Over time, the clinic became a trusted partner to the community and the Ivorian government, helping with vaccination campaigns and malaria-prevention efforts. Many patients and families have also encountered the gospel through the center’s compassionate care, leading to the formation of the “La Grâce” Church of the Nazarene.
With rapid population growth and new government health standards, the clinic now needs significant restructuring so it can continue serving those who depend on it. This project will help equip the updated facility with a maternity ward, pediatrics and gynecology departments, an operating room, a laboratory, a vaccination courtyard, visitor parking, and a modern pharmacy.
The renovated clinic will increase patient capacity, improve access to affordable care, create jobs, and expand opportunities for community health education. It will continue serving as a place of hope, compassion, and support for families in a predominantly low-income area. A dedicated savings account will be established for future maintenance once renovations are complete.
