The Alvin L Young Nazarene High School in San Jose Succotz, Belize, is working every day to ignite the minds of their students to be people of excellence; innovators, world changers and lifelong learners. The school opening in 2008 and celebrated the first commencement, 13 students, in 2013. The school has continued to grow and develop, now offering vocational areas as well, which include agriculture, animation, clothing, fashion and textiles, graphic design, and technical drawing.
This project is to help with the completion of some critical facility needs. Two classrooms in the newest building on campus are as yet unfinished. To complete the classrooms, they still need: plastered walls, doors, windows and ceiling installed, and smoothed the floors. This project also includes things like electrical units and wall mounted projectors to maximize the learning in these spaces.
The full cost of the completion is estimated to be $15,000. Five thousand dollars have already been commited, making the total remaining need $10,000.
Thank you for your support for the bright futures of the students in the Alvin L. Young Nazarene High School.
