Nazarene Theological College South Africa (NTC-SA) is charged with training and preparing pastors for most of the Africa South Field. Adjacent to NTC-SA is the Good News Conference Center, which supports the training and development of pastors and leaders as well as offers Christian conference facilities. The total property for both the college and the conference center covers 42 acres, which includes the buildings and facilities as well as outdoor spaces that have a combination of trees, brush and grass.
Caring for this space is important to leaders who recognize that it is a matter of good stewardship, as well as a way to care for students and visitors. It is also a safety issue, since overgrown brush is both a fire hazard and a habitat for snakes.
The machinery currently available to maintain the property has reached the end of its usefulness. The mowers are constantly in need of repair and so they are frequently unusable. It is past time to upgrade to larger, newer machinery that is better suited to the needs of the facility. The limiting factor has been funding to purchase what is truly needed.
This project is to purchase the maintenance machinery that will serve both the college and the conference center for many years to come.
Will you help to meet this practical need in order to create a safe and welcoming place to study and grow for the future pastors and leaders of the Africa South Field?
