Motorcycles are the main form of transportation for people in Cambodia. Zone leaders need reliable transportation to go to visit the churches in their zones. Many of these leaders travel for several hours over red dirt roads that are bumpy and dusty. They go to these villages and communities to encourage, disciple, and mentor the pastors in their zone and also to connect with our Nazarene brothers and sisters there. They use Nazarene essentials, the Nazarene Course of Study, and other Christian resources to empower and equip leaders in over 100 churches to reach their villages and communities with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Cambodia District Zone leaders go to the villages where we already have churches, but they also go to villages to make contacts and share the Gospel with people who have not yet become Christ-followers. Reliable transportation will keep them safe and help equip them to better carry out this mission of God in villages and communities across Cambodia.
Our Zone leaders want to equip our pastors and leaders, but they also have a passion to reach the not-yet reached. God can and will use this blessing of reliable transportation to help our leaders and pastors go into areas where God leads them, to be a light in the darkness, and to share the hope and peace they have in Jesus with the hopeless living all around them.
