Nazarene Theological Center - South Africa is currently working on developing new programs for district learning centers as well as campus-based programs. Over the years, methods and modes of education have drastically changed. Student support, communication, resourcing, and teaching are all enhanced with proper equipment. However, most academic and administrative staff are still using outdated and inefficient personal computers which are no longer suitable for the current needs of education and administration.
In order to provide appropriate tools and systems for academic and administrative personnel to work efficiently in a digital age, new laptop computers are needed. NTC-SA's information management system and learning management system are both completely online, including an electronic library. Computers with the software and capability to maximize the use of these systems increase the ability of the college to fulfill its mission and purpose of training and developing pastors and leaders for the Church of the Nazarene in southern Africa and beyond.
To achieve this, a total of eight insured laptops are required for the following offices: Principal, Academic Dean, Librarian, Registrar, Chaplain/Supervised Ministry Coordinator, Marketing, Business Office, and Operations Manager. The entire cost of these laptops is estimated at $6,800.
Will you help resource the ministry of NTC-South Africa to continue the pastoral and leadership development on their field?
