Joe and Amy Hall are from the Oklahoma City area and serve as Global Missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene. Their family spent several years in Southeast Asia in a Creative Access Country, and they now serve with Global Missions in a missionary care role, supporting and walking alongside missionaries worldwide.
In their current role, Joe and Amy provide care, encouragement, and support to missionaries serving in a wide variety of cultural and ministry contexts. They journey with missionaries throughout their entire calling—from their initial call and launch into service to their transition and return—offering consistent care along the way. This includes member care visits, debriefing after difficult seasons, leading retreats, offering mental health support, providing spiritual encouragement, and helping missionaries and their families remain healthy and thriving as they serve. Their heart is to ensure that those who are pouring out in ministry are also being poured into.
Their journey into this role has been shaped by years of ministry experience and a deep desire to care for the people behind the work of missions. Having served cross-culturally themselves, they bring both understanding and compassion to those navigating the challenges and joys of life on the mission field.
They are the proud parents of two wonderful children: Sam (19), a freshman at the University of Oklahoma, and Ella (17), a junior at Crossings Christian School.
Both Joe and Amy are graduates of Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, as well as a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from SNU and a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Spiritual Formation and Leadership.
