Juan es presbítero de la Iglesia del Nazareno desde marzo de 2007 y ha servido a tiempo completo en el ministerio desde julio de 2004. Terminó su Bachillerato en Teología (2006) y Licenciatura Ministerial en Teología (2016) en el Seminario Teológico Nazareno de Quito Ecuador, y actualmente se encuentra terminando su Maestría en Teología en el Seminario Teológico Sudamericano de Quito Ecuador. Juan también se desempeña actualmente como superintendente del Distrito Central Norte y como Coordinador Integral de Ministerios para Colombia. También ha estado involucrado en la educación teológica en Colombia y los Estados Unidos y ahora hace parte del cuerpo de docentes del Seminario Teológico del Cono Sur.

Carolina fue ordenada como presbítero en la Iglesia del Nazareno en febrero de 2020. Se graduó como Bachiller Superior en Teología del Seminario Teológico Sudamericano de Quito Ecuador en el año 2018. También terminó una licenciatura en Pedagogía Infantil y Familiar en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana en el año 2006.

Juan y Carolina hicieron un diplomado en el ministerio de Familia y de Matrimonios en el Seminario Wesleyano de Bogotá Colombia (2008-2010). Hasta el 30 de septiembre sirvieron juntos como coordinadores del ministerio de matrimonios de la Región SAM.

Juan y Carolina se casaron el 30 de abril de 2005. Son padres de tres preciosos hijos, Andrés Felipe, Sarah Karolina y Juan Diego. Y actualmente, son pastores de Por Su Gracia Iglesia del Nazareno la cual fundaron en abril del año 2014 en la ciudad de Bogotá Colombia.

Juan has been an elder of the Church of the Nazarene since March 2007, and has served full-time in the ministry since July 2004. He finished his Bachelor of Theology (2006) and Ministerial Licensure in Theology (2016) at the Seminario Teológico Nazareno of Quito Ecuador, and is currently finishing his Master's Degree in Theology at the Seminario Teológico Sudamericano of Quito, Ecuador. He currently serves as superintendent of the North Central District and as Integral Coordinator of Ministries for Colombia. He has also been involved in theological education in Colombia and the United States and is now on the faculty of the Seminario Teológico del Cono Sur.

Carolina was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene in February 2020. She graduated with a Bachelor of Theology from the Seminario Teológico Sudamericano of Quito Ecuador in 2018. She also finished a degree in Child and Family Pedagogy at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 2006.

Juan and Carolina completed a diploma in the Family and Marriage Ministry at the Wesleyan Seminary in Bogotá Colombia (2008-2010). Until September 30, they served together as coordinators of the marriage ministry of the SAM Region.

Juan and Carolina married on April 30, 2005. They are the parents of three precious children, Andrés Felipe, Sarah Karolina and Juan Diego. And currently, they are pastors of Por Su Gracia Church of the Nazarene, which they founded in April 2014 in the city of Bogotá, Colombia.
