Jhonatan and Dahiana, along with their son Evan, are a Uruguayan family who love God, the church, and the new generations.

Over the years, they have had the opportunity to serve in various areas of the Church of the Nazarene. They served as NYI (Nazarene Youth International) leaders at both the district and national levels for several years, playing a key role in a major transformation among the youth of their country. More recently, they have served in NDI (Nazarene Discipleship International) at the district level, training teachers from various local churches. They also served in local church pastoral ministry for 11 years, mentoring and discipling new generations and collaborating on the development of the church and its various ministries, always seeking to provide a platform for others to grow in ministry and discover their calling. Throughout this time, they have helped organize various projects, always aiming to create opportunities for others to meet Jesus, grow in their faith, and discover their gifts for service.

These have been incredible years witnessing how God has moved within the church in Uruguay!

As a family, they truly enjoy spending time together. They love traveling, exploring new places, enjoying nature, and photography. They are a family that embraces challenges and adventures, finding an opportunity to learn and create memories together in every new experience. This mindset also shapes how they live out their faith; they believe that following God means being open to accepting new challenges and stepping into the unknown.

They are currently taking a new step of faith, responding to God’s call to serve in Brazil as a missionary family. Their project involves developing a missionary base—a space dedicated to serving, training, mentoring, and mobilizing people for mission work. They will also be involved in planting and developing new churches, reaching people who do not yet know Jesus and forming faith communities that can grow and multiply.

They want to bring the experience they gained in Uruguay to Brazil, but above all, they want to arrive with hearts ready to learn from the culture, the people, and everything God intends to do in this new chapter. They have a deep desire to serve God as a family, reach new people, make disciples, raise up new leaders, and participate in the mission God is already carrying out in Brazil.

From Uruguay to Brazil, to continue the mission.

Jhonatan y Dahiana, junto a su hijo Evan, forman una familia uruguaya que ama a Dios, la iglesia y las nuevas generaciones.

Durante estos años han tenido la oportunidad de servir en diferentes áreas de la Iglesia del Nazareno. Han servido como líderes de JNI a nivel distrital y nacional durante varios años, siendo parte de una gran transformación en la juventud de su país, también en DNI a nivel distrital en esta última época, capacitando maestros de las diferentes iglesias locales y en la pastoral de una iglesia local durante 11 años, acompañando y discipulado a nuevas generaciones, colaborando en el desarrollo de la iglesia y sus diferentes ministerios, buscando ser una plataforma para que otras personas puedan crecer ministerialmente y descubrir su llamado. A lo largo de este tiempo han participado en la organización de diferentes proyectos, buscando siempre generar oportunidades para que otros puedan conocer a Jesús, crecer en su fe y descubrir sus dones para el servicio.

¡Estos han sido años increíbles viendo como Dios obró en la iglesia de Uruguay!

En el área familiar, disfrutan mucho de compartir tiempo juntos. Les gusta viajar, conocer nuevos lugares, disfrutar de la naturaleza y la fotografía. Son una familia que disfruta los desafíos y las aventuras, y que encuentra en cada nueva experiencia una oportunidad para aprender y crear recuerdos juntos. Esa disposición también forma parte de la manera en que viven su fe. Creen que seguir a Dios implica estar disponibles para aceptar nuevos desafíos y caminar hacia lugares que todavía no conocen.

Actualmente se encuentran dando un nuevo paso de fe, entendiendo el llamado de Dios a servir en Brasil como familia misionera. El proyecto contempla trabajar en el desarrollo de una base misionera, que pueda ser un espacio para servir, capacitar, acompañar y movilizar personas hacia la misión. También estarán involucrados en la plantación y desarrollo de nuevas iglesias, alcanzando personas que aún no conocen a Jesús y formando comunidades de fe que puedan crecer y multiplicarse.

Quieren llevar a Brasil la experiencia adquirida en Uruguay, pero sobre todo llegar con un corazón dispuesto a aprender de la cultura, de las personas y de todo lo que Dios quiera hacer en esta nueva etapa.

Tienen el profundo deseo de Servir a Dios como familia, alcanzar nuevas personas, formar discípulos, levantar nuevos líderes y participar en la misión que Dios ya está desarrollando en Brasil.

De Uruguay a Brasil, para continuar con la misión.
