Roberto was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. Growing up, he loved meeting and volunteering with the mission teams that served and helped in his community. He is excited to facilitate Nazarene mission teams to show the compassion and love for Christ that he once experienced.

Kristin is originally from Texas. She earned her BS in elementary education from SNU, but after teaching for a few years, she knew God was calling her in a different direction. This led her to Nazarene Theological Seminary where she earned her MA in Intercultural Studies. She has loved serving as the NMI president at her local church over the last few years.

Kristin and Roberto met at a regional Nazarene event in Panama in 2012 and married in 2014. They recently left their home in Kansas City to serve as the Teams Coordinators to Costa Rica on the Mesoamerica region. They have the responsibility for overseeing the projects and teams on both the North and Central Districts. Together they have two kids Elijah and Isabella. They are thankful for the opportunity to serve as a family in this way.

Roberto nació y creció en la República Dominicana. De niño, disfrutaba conociendo y colaborando con los equipos misioneros que servían y ayudaban en su comunidad. Le entusiasma facilitar equipos misioneros Nazarenos para mostrar la compasión y el amor por Cristo que él mismo experimentó.

Kristin es originaria de Texas. Obtuvo su licenciatura en educación primaria en la SNU, pero después de algunos años de docencia, supo que Dios la llamaba a tomar una dirección diferente. Esto la llevó al Seminario Teológico Nazareno, donde obtuvo su maestría en Estudios Interculturales. En los últimos años, ha disfrutado de servir como presidenta de MNI en su iglesia local.

Kristin y Roberto se conocieron en un evento regional Nazareno en Panamá en 2012 y se casaron en 2014. Recientemente dejaron su hogar en Kansas City para servir como coordinadores de equipos en Costa Rica, dentro de la Región de Mesoamérica. Tienen la responsabilidad de supervisar los proyectos y los equipos tanto en el Distrito Norte como en el Distrito Central. Tienen dos hijos, Elijah e Isabella, y agradecen la oportunidad de servir como familia de esta manera.
