Carlos and Nancy are Venezuelan and have served for more than 30 years as pastors in various congregations. They have also served as district superintendents and on national and regional leadership positions. Carlos has a Master in Theology and is a Certified Life Coach, and Nancy is a Clinical Psychologist. They have two married daughters, Leidy and Ana María, and a granddaughter named Anna Isabella.

Carlos serves as the Field Strategy Coordinator for the North Central Field in Mesoamerica, which includes Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
