David and Erika are missionaries serving in Guyana, the Caribbean Field in the Mesoamerica Region. They have two daughters, Sara and Ana Emilia.

David and Erika - from El Salvador and Costa Rica - began their ministry in separate ways on the region. Both served as local and district leaders in their home countries and also as volunteer missionaries for short-term mission trips in countries like Guatemala, Jordan, Mexico, Dominican Republic, etc. Then, while they were long-term missionaries in different countries of the region, they had the opportunity to reconnect. After some time they got married (in March 2016) and continued on the mission field together.

As a couple, they served in Haiti for 6 years and now, they moved to Guyana in 2022. Erika has been serving as the Regional Personnel Coordinator since 2018. And right now David serves as the Finance and Work and Witness Coordinator for the Caribbean field. Both also support the Hispanic ministries in the country since there is a growing migrant population of Venezuelans and Cubans.

Erika was ordained in January 2022. She holds a Manufacturing Engineering degree and also received a masters degree in Church Development from the Nazarene Seminary in Costa Rica in 2019. David graduated in Theology from the same institution and he is a licensed minister. He has a background in electronics and accounting.

They feel privileged that God called them to serve the Caribbean nations. Please join them in prayer for their ministries and for the Holy Spirit to prepare the hearts of those who will receive the Good News through their ministry now and in the generations to come!

 David y Erika son misioneros sirivendo en Guyana, Área Caribe, en la región Mesoamérica. Tienen dos hijas: Sara y Ana Emilia.

David y Erika, de El Salvador y Costa Rica, comenzaron su ministerio de formas separadas en la Región Mesoamérica. Ambos fueron líderes locales, distritales e incluso asistentes pastorales. Más adelante sirvieron como misioneros voluntarios en viajes de corto plazo en países como Guatemala, Jordania, México, República Dominicana, etc. Después mientras eran misioneros ya de largo plazo en diferentes países de la región, tuvieron la oportunidad de reconectarse y después de un tiempo, se casaron (en Marzo 2016) y continuaron juntos en el campo misionero.

Como pareja, sirvieron en Haití durante 6 años y ahora se mudaron a Guyana en 2022. Erika se ha desempeñado como Coordinadora Regional de Personal desde 2018. Y en este momento, David se desempeña como Coordinador de Finanzas y Trabajo y Testimonio para el área Caribe. Ambos también apoyan los ministerios hispanos en el país ya que hay una creciente población migrante de venezolanos y cubanos.

Erika fue ordenada como presbítero en Enero del 2022. Ella tiene un título en Ingeniería de Manufactura y también recibió una maestría en Desarrollo de la Iglesia del Seminario Nazareno en Costa Rica en 2019. David obtuvo su título teológico en la misma institución y tiene licencia como ministro. Tiene un trasfondo en electrónica y contabilidad.
