Serving In

David and Erika - from El Salvador and Costa Rica - began their ministry in separate ways on the Mesoamerica Region as volunteer missionaries for short-term mission trips in countries like Guatemala, Jordan, Mexico, Dominican Republic, etc. Then, they both took the step to serve the Lord cross-culturally for a longer time. While they were missionaries in different countries, they had the opportunity to reconnect. After some time they got married in 2016, and continued on the mission field together.

They have a daughter, Sara, born on April 2020.

Haiti is the place where they have the opportunity to serve. David is the field NCM coordinator and Erika is the field jurisdictional secretary and also, she serves as the Regional Personnel Coordinator. Haiti has the largest membership on the Mesoamerica Region and it is formed by 12 districts.

David and Erika are both licensed ministers in the Church of the Nazarene. Erika holds a Manufacturing Engineering degree and also received a masters degree in Church Development from the Nazarene Seminary in Costa Rica in 2019. David is about to finish his theological degree from the same institution. He has a background in auto-mechanics and accounting.

Erika and David feel privileged that God called them to serve in Haiti. It is their prayer that God will continue working in this country, to make Christ-like disciples and to bring development in every aspect of the population. Please join us in prayer for Ayiti cheri (lovely Haiti).

Giving Frequency

A pledge is any amount you commit to give to support a missionary, even if you are not prepared to give in full right now. You can set up a recurring gift or give on your own schedule to fulfill your pledge, either through this site or with a check. Pledging an amount even before you are able to give it allows a missionary to count on your future support.
