Serving In

Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

The Hendrix family has been in the Northern Caucus Mountains pioneering the work of the church for the past two years. They have been working to learn the new language and culture while building new friendships.  This past year they were able to take over leadership of a community ministry center called the Open Door Center. This has given them new inroads to a community in the center of Tbilisi. In this center, they host English classes, kid's clubs, coaching courses, and an Alpha Course.  Pioneering a country that is so rich in the history of the Byzantine empire and the early spread of Christianity holds a certain challenge, especially in the midst of a regional war and continual influx of refugees. God has give them a lot of opportunity to show His love, mercy and grace in the midst of such a painful and uncertain time.  Please pray for this family as they continue to build relationships and try to plant new churches in the Republic of Georgia.
