Serving In

Just a regular person following a pretty big calling while trusting in a God who does really big things

Emily felt a call to missions as a young child sitting in the front row of her little hometown church listening to visiting missionaries. As Emily became more involved in NMI at Peninsula Church of the Nazarene in San Pedro on the Anaheim District, she felt the call toward missions grow stronger. Emily’s call has recently been renewed and confirmed through a position at the Eurasia Regional Office in the finance and communication departments. She is looking forward to utilizing her love for creating clear and fun communication, as well as her passion for finances.

Emily is a Southern California native who has been living in the Pacific Northwest for the last 5 years. After graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University, she worked in various roles until eventually landing in Portland, Oregon, where she started her own photography business, specializing in weddings and engagements. Most recently, Emily has also been working at her local church, Nexus Church of the Nazarene, in the roles of finance assistant and media & marketing manager.

Emily loves to be outdoors, spending time with her dog Riley, creating projects, photographing people’s most special moments, and traveling the world with friends.

Prayers are always welcomed. If you’d like to stay up to date on her adventures in missions at the Eurasia Regional Office, you can click the follow button to subscribe to her newsletter!
