Serving In

Media and good journalism are not about massive productions, but about telling the stories of people. It is about telling the stories of you and me.

In 2015, Bryan joined the Church of the Nazarene in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands, as a young adult through an online television project by the local NYI called Xperience TV. Through the local NYI, Bryan became involved in youth ministry through video production and live streaming. But most importantly, he found a vibrant community of peers, which is something he had dreamed of finding. This restored his faith and showed him that the Church is alive and thriving even for young generations. Over the years, Bryan became increasingly involved in the local church and eventually became a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

With his 12 years of experience and background in local radio and television broadcasting, he helped build and pioneer the church’s video livestream ministry in Vlaardingen. This was a great highlight during the COVID 19 pandemic when the livestream helped the church transform into a large, professional live television studio, reaching over 1,000 weekly connections.

In 2024, Bryan felt a call to step down from his roles in the local church and respond to the Lord calling him to bring his gifts and talents to the Communications team in the Eurasia Region. Since then, he has been involved in various video and podcast projects, including the Everyday Eurasia podcast, where everyday, a speaker from a different part of the Eurasia region shares a devotional centered around a specific theme.

Since he stepped down from his local church responsibilities and started doing more volunteer work with the region, Bryan kept feeling the Lord calling him to give more. He realised that his calling is to be a missionary in the region, offering his gifts fully to the Lord and bringing His Good News everywhere.

In today’s world, negative news spreads quickly and often dominates the scene. Bryan believes that it is crucial to keep sharing the Good News of Christ and to show what God is doing across the region by using media as a tool to connect with others and disciple. He believes that media is not an archive for the church, but rather a powerful ministry that can make a real difference in the church’s mission.

By supporting Bryan, you will help make an impact in places across the Eurasia Region and the Central Europe Field. As he develops and supports resources that help churches grow, he also helps them realise that impactful media does not require large budgets; it only takes time, creativity, and dedication.

Prayers are appreciated for Bryan as he continues this journey of sharing and experiencing the life of the church across the Eurasia Region and the Central Europe Field. Pray that God would guide and sustain him in this calling, provide the right connections and opportunities, and use his work to strengthen and encourage churches across the region.
