Eurasia North Field Strategy Coordinators

Trino and Anna Jara serve as missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene in Eurasia Region, assigned to serve in Eurasia North (Former CIS Field) as Field Strategy Coordinators (FSCs). Until April 2020 they also served also as South Asia Field Strategy Coordinators. They are parents to a precious and beautiful girl; Lia. She is just one year old. Trino is from Costa Rica serving a missionary with the Church of the Nazarene for 25 years. Anna is from Armenia. She has been involved in missions for the last 10 years.

The Eurasia North Field has work in 9 countries; Armenia, Belorussia, Georgia, Latvia, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine and two CAC in Central Asia. The church of the Nazarene in Eurasia North is working hard to be a vibrant, visionary church. Together with District Superintendents and District leadership has been walking a journey of serious evaluation of each of our 5 districts with the aim of determine the main obstacles and challenges as well as the main opportunities God is giving the team to advance the work of the church in the field. Eurasia North Field faces a number of social, religious, political and war challenges that affect its development. There is also a strong vision to advance the church to new areas where people need to know and experience the love and redemptive forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray for the Baltic District, the Central Asia and Trans-Siberia projects.

Besides the assignment as Eurasia North Field Strategy Coordinator; They serve as Armenia District Superintendent and Pastor the First Church of the Nazarene in Yerevan as well as Mission finance coordinator for Armenia, children pastor and church planter.

Thinking about the church of the Nazarene in Eurasia North, the general thinking is about the picture of a brick sidewalk with plants growing in in small places where there is fertile soil. The field team is in constant prayer asking to God to identify where the fertile soil is to plant the church through the field.

The constant prayer is for Spiritual refreshment in the field pastors and leaders. Revival and God using, children, young and adults to strengthen local churches and expand the message of Holiness to new communities. Also pray for a new generation of missional leaders growing in the local churches. There is a future for the Church of the Nazarene in Eurasia North Field, and there is strong desire to be part of this future!

THINGS TO PRAY FOR:

- For the family health. For the Lord protection and wisdom to continue serving with passion faith and hope.
-Peace and Reconciliation in Armenia and Azerbaijan, in Russia and Ukraine.
-Eurasia North Field and more than 200 million in need to experience the love and forgiveness from God through His precious son.
- For the Field Mission Team as they continue the task to preach the Gospel in new areas
- For revival and spiritual refreshment in the Pastors, District Superintendents, Ministry Coordinators and church leaders.
-For the new generation of Missional Leaders, being already mentored and discipled. God is calling many of them for ministry. Please pray for them to listen and obey the voice of the Lord in their lives.
