Serving In

Jessica is a Trevecca Nazarene University graduate with a BA in Intercultural Studies. During her time at Trevecca she was given the opportunity to serve in Kyiv, Ukraine for three months. She was able to work with children through clubs, camps, and a VBS program. This trip confirmed for her God’s call on her life to long-term missions working with children. Jessica has been passionate about working with children throughout her life. Growing up in a Nazarene church, Jessica has volunteered in the nursery, helped with VBS, and worked at district children’s camps four years in a row. She has also served on three short term mission trips, one each to Nashville TN, Guatemala City, Guatemala, and Pukalani, HI. During her time in college, she taught swim lessons to kids through a program called Swim America.

In February 2021 she travelled to Yerevan, Armenia, originally to serve for 1 year. She is working with children at kid’s club on Saturdays and helping with VBS at all the churches in Armenia. She also teaches two weekly English classes for teens and children, leads a Bible study with teens from the church, and this year will be starting an English class for Cubans living in Armenia.

Recently Jessica has been given permission to extend her time in Armenia by 6 months. Jessica is excited to extend her time in Armenia, and asks for your prayers and support as she continues to serve.
