Serving In

Brian and Abigail Ginn are both experienced individuals called into full time missions through medicine before they met at Olivet Nazarene University. Abigail served in Zambia during a summer in college and Brian visited Kudjip Nazarene Hospital several times during his training. They got married partway through medical school and pursued their training in Chicago.

Abigail attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine followed by a residency in pediatrics at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, and a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Cook County Hospital/Rush University Medical Center. She is looking forward to building relationships with children and their families as well as ministering to patients who are approaching the end of their lives.

Brian attended Southern Illinois University School of Medicine followed by a residency in general surgery at Ascension St. Joseph Hospital – Chicago. He is looking forward to expanding his scope of surgical care and implementing faith throughout his daily service.

Their son, Henry, is looking forward to making many new friends and learning a second language.

Abigail and Brian will be serving for at least two years through the World Medical Mission Post Residency Program.
