Lydia is currently serving in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, where she has been since July 2023. She volunteers with local churches and ministries and works with the young adults, youth, and children. Lydia has a passion for learning and teaching, helping others, and for sharing stories about what God has done.
Lydia felt a call to missions when she was seven years old, and has been pursuing that call ever since. She grew up in the Pacific Northwest and received a degree in nursing from Northwest Nazarene University, and a master’s in Complementary and Integrative Health from Drexel University. Prior to serving in Mongolia, she worked as a registered nurse for the Boise VA Medical Center in Idaho.
Lydia loves seeing how science glorifies God and displays his creativity, and also helping others not only to see this, but to care for themselves in a way that recognizes their status as a person created in the image of God, caring for mind, body, and soul. She is so excited that she is now participating in God’s work in Mongolia, and is excited to see his master story unfold around the world!
