Serving In

We are made new. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Cor 5:17

Our family often talks about how the butterfly reminds us of how our lives look when we follow Jesus. The metamorphosis (transformation) of the butterfly occurs in four distinct stages (egg, caterpillar, pupa, butterfly), yet, it really isn’t until the final stage, when the pupa transforms into the beautiful and unique butterfly, that people take notice. There’s something different and intriguing about its new form. Likewise, as followers of Jesus, what if our transformations were so different and intriguing to those watching us, that they too just had to find out the reason for the change? That is why we go – to share the reason for the hope that we have in Him!

What we do. We serve on the Sealands field, in an area that covers roughly 3000 miles (about the distance from Los Angeles to New York City), is known for its many beautiful islands, and rich history of diverse cultures, languages, and distinct religions. We are actively learning the culture and language and working to develop grace relationships with our neighbors.

Our family. We have three wonderful sons: the oldest lives in Japan, the middle is in the U.S., and the youngest lives at home. We’re very thankful for technology and the ability to stay connected with our family.

Thank you. We are so grateful for your prayers and encouragement. To learn more, follow us at www.hello-goodbye.life
