Serving In

Nicholas and Lydia were born and bred in Kenya, from diverse communities and raised up in loving Christian families.

In his teenage life, Nicholas was committed to serve with the Church of the Nazarene and was involved in the youth in mission (Tukuza Mungu Team). Later he was blessed to have an opportunity to study at Africa Nazarene University where he pursued undergraduate Theology and Masters of Arts in Religion. He has served in various capacity which included, Local NYI president, JFM team leaders, Nazarene Bible college teacher across the Africa East Field, and currently he is serving as the Field Youth ministry Coordinator responsible of coordinating the youth ministry across the field and also associate pastor at Bahati Church of the Nazarene.

Lydia has served for more than 10 years in the Literature department at Africa East field, she has the passion of working with children and supporting the development of church ministries. She has been a Bible study leader for a while where she brought together friends from different denomination to search the scripture and engage in community outreach such as children’s home and homes for the old people. She is a strategic organizer. Together we are blessed with two adorable daughters, (Maryanne and Mylene).

Our desire is to know more of Christ and make Him known to the world.
