Gabriel J. Benjiman is a global missionary and has served as a church leader for 27 years. He currently serves as the Africa Region higher education and Christian leaderhip development coordinator. He serves various educational systems including universities, seminaries and colleges to produce dynamic Christian leaders for Global significance in various academic disciplines. The Church of the Nazarene in Africa is host to 9 higher education institutions with an enrolment of 10 400 students.
Dr. Benjiman is a multidisciplinary scholar working to create relevance in aspects of Biblical Theology, Christian Leadership as well as Higher Education. Dr. Gabe earned a doctorate with specialist emphasis in higher education. He also earned Masters degrees in Biblical Literature and Pastoral Theology. Gabriel is a servant leader who pioneered a fully integrated multicultural and muti-racial church post apartheid in Durban, South Africa. Gabe also frequently contributes scholarly articles on leadership, and theology published in books and journals by various scholars and universities in the global higher educational space.
Mary and Gabe have served as a pastoral couple for 23 of 28 years of ministry. Mary has participated in ultra distance races and has a passion for prayer walking and strategic ministries to the marginalised women and children in the cities. They are keen on raising ethical leaders in Africa as well as address leadership development, Contextual African theology and Pastoral Leadership.
Gabriel and Mary enjoy the family God has given them. Dr. Gabe and Mary enjoy their two daughters, Karris and Eden. The Benjimans live happily in Durban, South Africa.
