Gossaye and Angela began serving the lord before they got married in 2004 in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. Gossaye was born in Oromia region of Ethiopia and Angela was born in Wellington, Cape town South Africa. She grew up in the Church of the Nazarene from 2 years of age. Angela studied at NTC for diploma in Theology for 4 years and diploma in Missions for 3 years. Gossaye started his ministry as a missionary in the Rift Valley of Ethiopia and ordained as an elder in 2004. Angela served as management team member of GNCC till they joined in marriage, in the same year Gossa was ordained, at that time he was pastoring the Central Church of the Nazarene in Ethiopia.
As a couple they took an appointment as DS in Botswana Church of the Nazarene from 2006 -2007. They pastored a church in Bhisho Church of the Nazarene and lead the Transkei Zone which later became a district in Eastern Cape South Africa from 2008 -2010 from then up until they rejoined the GNCC management team as a volunteer missionary this year (2022). They were involved in Urban Ministry in reaching out to refugees and immigrants in different parts of Africa.
Gossaye and Angela are blessed with two boys Nebiyu 17 and Keno 15, they both love the Lord and like sports specially rugby and soccer. The Hamdas are passionate about people knowing Christ, while Angela enjoys reading and baking. Gossa like meeting people and together they like travelling and serving people.
The Hamdas are Currently volunteering as missionaries to serve in Good News Convention Centre in Johannesburg South Africa. Pray for them to have success as part of GNCC management team to bring GNCC up to its missional mandate, as it provide the Christian community in and around South Africa with Godly hospitality service, so that it can raise necessary resource for Nazarene Theological College to fulfill its mandate in training men and women of God for ministry.
