Serving In

Gift and Judy Mtukwa have dedicated their lives to serving God from a young age. They were married in 2010 in Kiambu, Kenya, and have since made Nairobi their home. Gift, originally from Highfields, Harare, Zimbabwe, and Judy, born and raised in Nairobi, met while attending Africa Nazarene University. During their time there, they founded the University Church of the Nazarene. In 2010, Gift was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene.

Judy has worked as an administrator in the Department of Education and the Law School at Africa Nazarene University (ANU). Since December 2023, she has been the Project Manager at Nazarene Compassionate Ministries—Africa Region. Gift has been a lecturer at ANU’s School of Religion and Christian Ministry since 2007. He has also held positions as Chair of the Department and most recently as Dean of the School.

Gift and Judy are blessed with two children: Nathan Munashe, 7, and Zoe Vimbai, 4, who are being raised in the knowledge and love of the Lord. Nathan enjoys soccer and swimming, while Zoe loves ballet.

Gift and Judy are passionate about seeing people come to Christ and be transformed in His likeness. Judy enjoys trying out diverse cuisines and visiting art spaces, while Gift is enthusiastic about mountain climbing, running, teaching, research, and community service. Together, they love travelling and serving people.

The Mtukwas are currently serving as missionaries in Kenya. They ask for prayers that they may continue to be instruments of God’s grace, bringing salvation and healing to the people of Kenya and beyond. Please also pray for their children as they grow in faith, and for their ministry to make the love of Jesus known across Africa.
