We believe that God wants an active urban church that is reaching out to its community. The Genesis program facilitates the deployment of new Nazarene missionaries and education of current urban congregations, to equip the church with the tools needed to reach out and grow.

Our goal is to see church growth in 28 urban centers that have little to no presence of the Church of the Nazarene. We utilize a volunteer missionary strategy through which we have developed an eight-year plan. Each site sponsorship represents two years of ministry, materials, and support.

We hope that in the long term we will begin to see the catalytic growth of our urban congregations in Mesoamerica. We will know we have reached our goal when our neighbors see the Nazarene church as an integral part of their community. Your gift helps to propel us toward our goal to see each major city in Mesoamerica have a healthy Christian witness through an active and engaged local church.
