Cambodia is a country that has a past filled with oppression and extreme poverty. The Khmer people have endured so much that it still affects the Khmer children, teenagers, and adults today. But even with all they have suffered, the power of the Gospel is so much greater, and the hope and freedom they have found in Jesus has radically changed the lives of our Khmer Nazarene brothers and sisters in Christ. Because the Creator of the universe has done a new thing in their lives, families, and communities, they want to share this with people and villages that do not yet know and follow Jesus. They go into new villages to build relationships, share the Gospel, make disciples, and train these new disciples to reach the rest of their village for Christ. Due to the rapid growth of disciples that are being made and churches that are being planted, the district, which is made up mostly of farmers and fishermen, has been unable to keep up with this continual growth financially. By giving to this project, you are partnering with the Cambodia District to share the Gospel, make new disciples of Jesus Christ, train and equip pastors, leaders, and church members to reach their communities and villages for Jesus, and carry the message of the Gospel to provinces, cities, towns, villages, and homes that have never heard the message of hope and freedom that is only found in Jesus Christ.
