This project supports one of the fastest-growing districts in the Southeast Asia Field, where remarkable church growth has created an urgent need to equip pastors serving in remote communities. Since 2020, the number of pastors completing the 24-course Course of Study has grown from just five to more than seventy, and churches continue to multiply as dedicated leaders share the Gospel in isolated regions.
Many of these pastors face significant transportation challenges. Traveling to the ministry center and Chapman International College often requires several hours over difficult terrain, and aging motorcycles frequently break down in remote areas. These obstacles limit pastors' ability to attend ministerial training and effectively serve the churches and communities entrusted to their care.
This project will provide five new motorcycles, along with registration and essential safety equipment, giving pastors reliable transportation for both ministry and leadership development. The anticipated impact includes safer travel, improved access to theological education, expanded outreach to remote communities, and greater encouragement for pastors as they faithfully serve. By equipping these leaders with dependable transportation, this project will strengthen the church's long-term mission and disciple-making efforts throughout the region.
