Our Nazarene missionaries step out in faith when they respond to God's call by saying, “Here I am; send me.” As they commit to full-time, cross-cultural ministry, part of their challenge is to raise the funds necessary to go.

All missionaries, whether sent on a global or sponsored deployment, benefit from World Evangelism giving; they are also responsible for raising a portion of their own support, which we call deputation. When you give to a missionary’s deputation fund, they use it for things like travel expenses, purchasing a vehicle, ministry expenses, and educational needs for their children, among other specifically defined uses.

Missionaries rely heavily upon their network of contacts and churches to raise deputation funds. Some missionaries have networks that are better able to provide financial resources than others. Many of our missionaries are from world areas where it is particularly difficult to raise support.

This project is geared to help missionaries who have spent considerable time and effort in their home country raising support, yet fall short of their financial need because of factors outside of their control. Donations towards this project will help to supply the shortfall, making it possible for missionaries around the world to answer the call to go.

The estimated annual need to fully fund this project is $100,000.
