This project will provide two vehicles to strengthen the local church’s ability to serve surrounding communities and develop greater long-term sustainability. A motorcycle will give the pastor dependable transportation to reach nearby villages, particularly during the rainy season when roads can become difficult or inaccessible to larger vehicles. This will make it easier to provide pastoral care, follow up with individuals and families, and maintain relationships with communities that might otherwise be difficult to reach.
The project will also provide a Toyota HiAce High Roof Van that will serve both ministry and income-generating purposes. In addition to transporting church leaders and supporting outreach activities, the van can be rented through an existing relationship with a local Christian travel agency and tour operators. Revenue generated through these rentals will help support the vehicle’s operation and contribute to the ongoing ministry of the church, with local leadership committed to transparent reporting and evaluating the project’s sustainability over a two-year period.
Together, these vehicles represent a strategic investment in both ministry access and local sustainability. Reliable transportation will help pastors and church leaders visit communities, strengthen congregations, respond to ministry needs, and create new opportunities to share the Gospel. At the same time, the income-generating potential of the van will help the church move toward greater financial self-support, strengthening its ability to maintain a lasting ministry presence in the community.
