Mesoamerica Genesis is a regional initiative that seeks to make Christ-like disciples in the urban centers of Mesoamerica. The strategy began in 2010 and annually deploys missionary teams to strategic cities in the Region to begin a new church plant through evangelism, discipleship and leadership training.

The city of Chihuahua, Mexico has a metro population of almost 1million people, with one organized Church of the Nazarene and one mission-type church. The Genesis team is working to establish a new church that will become organized within 2 years.

A partnership with Genesis in Chihuahua will help to provide resources for the missionary team to create community impact experiences, as well as purchase discipleship materials and support the missionaries with theological education and a small scholarship.
