This project seeks to engage and equip a new generation of missional leaders to expand the Church of the Nazarene into communities across Armenia where there is currently no Nazarene presence. Young people are increasingly passionate about sharing the Gospel, discovering their call to ministry, and participating directly in church planting. Building on the successful development of ministry in Sevan, the Armenia District has an opportunity to turn this growing passion into a sustainable movement of evangelism and leadership development.
Over the next four years, young leaders will be mobilized to begin ministry in at least four new communities: Ashtarak, Artashat, Vanadzor, and Yerevan. Through strategic outreach such as Vacation Bible Schools, Kids Clubs, small groups, and other evangelistic activities, teams will build relationships and establish new Centers of Transformational Ministry (CTMs), with the long-term goal of developing these ministries into organized local churches. Along the way, emerging leaders will gain hands-on ministry experience and be equipped to assume greater responsibility within the church.
The vision is to see a new missional generation lead the Armenia District into a season of growth and multiplication. By investing in young leaders and sending them into new communities, this project will strengthen Nazarene identity, develop future pastors and ministry leaders, and establish new churches that make Christlike disciples. Ultimately, this initiative will help the district fulfill the Great Commission while building a stronger foundation for its continued development and expansion.
