In the rural community of Aldea Chajquej, Chanyuc, Guatemala, a faithful congregation has been serving Christ and ministering to their neighbors for many years. The Church of the Nazarene in this village was officially organized in 2001, beginning with a small but devoted group of about 60 believers who gathered together to worship, pray, and grow in their faith. Over the past two decades, God has continued to bless the ministry in this community. Through consistent outreach, discipleship, and the faithful witness of the congregation, the church has steadily grown. Today more than 100 believers gather regularly for worship and fellowship. However, the current church building has deteriorated significantly over time. Its condition is no longer safe, and the limited space restricts the church’s ability to hold services, discipleship gatherings, and outreach activities for the surrounding community. Your generosity can help change this. A gift toward the construction of a new 30 meter by 15 meter church building would provide a safe and welcoming place for the congregation to gather. With this new facility, believers will be able to worship together with dignity while creating space for ministry to children, youth, and families throughout the village.
