Serving the Lord as Work and Witness Coordinators in Peru - Sirviendo al Señor como Coordinadores de Trabajo y Testimonio en Perú

Harrison and Jennifer met on the Nazarene Seminary Campus in Quito Ecuador in 2008.  Jennifer had been serving as a Volunteer Missionary with the Church of the Nazarene since 2006 in Venezuela and 2008 in Ecuador.  Harrison was studying at the Nazarene Seminary after having been called by God to leave the Ecuadorian Military to become a Pastor.  They were married in July of 2011 and they have a beautiful daughter Lizbeth who was born on June 17th, 2015. 

Harrison has a technical degree in electricity and a degree in Theology.  He recently completed a diploma program in youth ministry and he is approved and waiting for ordination that is postponed due to the pandemic.  Jen has a B.S. in Music education and thanks to her time in NILI, she has an oral proficiency of Advanced Mid in Spanish. 

The Guamán family has served in many areas over the past 10 years.  Jen began her service alongside the work and witness coordinators in Venezuela after receiving God’s call on a W&W trip.  During their time in Ecuador (2008-2019) they served in many areas, assisting with work and witness, administrator of the Nazarene Seminary, Assistant Director to NILI, The Nazarene International Language Institute in Quito, Sunday School teacher, and Associate pastor of the Carcelén church of the Nazarene.  But in the spring of 2019, God had new plans and they were asked to come to Peru. 

In February of 2020, they arrived in Peru ready to begin this new adventure. They are currently serving as Work and Witness Coordinators, visiting churches and sharing God’s word, and helping out in any way they can.  Jen is also part of the regional NMI team. Harrison, Jen, and Lizbeth love work and witness and everything it involves, building God’s church through relationships, discipleship, fun, and hard work.

Harrison y Jennifer se conocieron en el Campus del Seminario Teológico Nazareno Sudamericano en Quito Ecuador en el 2008.  Jennifer ha servido como misionera voluntaria con la Iglesia del Nazareno desde 2006 en Venezuela y 2008 en Ecuador.  Harrison fue estudiante en el Seminario, después de haber recibido el llamado de Dios para dejar el ejército ecuatoriano y ser un pastor.  Ellos se casaron en julio de 2011 y tienen una hermosa hija de nombre Lizbeth, quien nació el 17 de junio 2015.

Harrison es Técnico Industrial en Electricidad y tiene una licenciatura en Teología.  Recientemente terminó un diplomado en ministerio juvenil y está aprobado y esperando el ser ordenado.  Jen tiene una licenciatura en educación musical y gracias a su tiempo en NILI, alcanzó una certificación de nivel avanzado medio en español.

La familia Guamán ha servido en varias áreas en los últimos 10 años.  Jen empezó su servicio junto a los Coordinadores de Trabajo y Testimonio en Venezuela después de haber recibido el llamado de Dios en un viaje de TyT.  Durante su tiempo en Ecuador (2008-2019) juntos han servido en muchas áreas, como asistentes con Trabajo y Testimonio, administrador del Seminario Nazareno, asistente de la directora de NILI (Instituto Internacional Nazareno de Lenguaje) en Quito, maestra de escuela dominical, y pastores asociados en la Iglesia del Nazareno de Carcelén.  En marzo del 2019, Dios tuvo nuevos planes y ellos fueron invitados a servir en Perú.

En febrero de 2020, llegaron a Perú listos para empezar esta nueva aventura.  Actualmente están sirviendo como Coordinadores de Trabajo y Testimonio, visitando iglesias, compartiendo la Palabra del Señor, y ayudando en cualquier área que puedan.  Jen también es parte del equipo regional de MNI.  Harrison, Jen y Lizbeth aman Trabajo y Testimonio y todo lo que involucra, construyendo la Iglesia del Señor a través de relaciones, discipulado, diversión, y trabajo fuerte.
