Serving In

The Gonzalez family served in the Africa Region from 2017-2021 in the countries of Cabo Verde and Equatorial Guinea, and are currently transitioning to the Eurasia Region to serve in Church Development in the country of Luxembourg.

Growing up in Venezuela, Camilo worked closely with the missionaries, learning about their ministry, and becoming part of the work of the church in Venezuela. During this time, he felt God calling him into full time missions. Camilo holds an Associate degree in Applied Sciences of Construction from Ivy Tech Community College, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Theology at Seminario Teológico Nazareno del Cono Sur. He has worked in commercial and residential construction, and has served in music ministry, Work & Witness, discipleship, church development, and other roles in ministry.

Sara grew up in Indiana and felt a call to missions as a teen after her first mission trip to South America. Sara is a Registered Nurse and graduate of Olivet Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She also holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership/Administration from Ball State University. She has worked in various nursing roles in the clinical setting, case management, and nursing leadership. She has served in music ministry, NMI, Work & Witness, statistics, and other roles in ministry.

Camilo and Sara met while serving in missions and married in Venezuela in 2002. Returning to the USA at the end of 2003, they continued their careers and served in the local church until being called into full time missions in 2017. Their 3 children join them in ministry: Landon (18), Kyle (15), and Adriana (12). Camilo and Sara are passionate about missions and how it brings people all over the world together in service.

Please pray for them as they begin this new chapter of ministry in Church Development in Luxembourg. Join them in prayer for wisdom in project and ministry development, and decisions that are made for the advancement of the Kingdom.

Giving Frequency

A pledge is any amount you commit to give to support a missionary, even if you are not prepared to give in full right now. You can set up a recurring gift or give on your own schedule to fulfill your pledge, either through this site or with a check. Pledging an amount even before you are able to give it allows a missionary to count on your future support.
