Bob and Gayle Losinger call Michigan their home. The Losingers have been married over 49 years and have two married sons and six grandchildren. Bob and Gayle have been part of the Clare Church of the Nazarene after moving to Clare area following retirement in 2019. Bob retired after 21 years teaching elementary school in Lapeer, MI. Gayle is a retired RN after working in oncology, hospice, quality and education. Bob and Gayle have served in short term work and witness mission trips outside the U.S. and with Samaritan’s Purse and the SOWER ministry. This will be their first long term mission experience.
Bob and Gayle were asked to attend a missionary conference to represent their church. At the conference they heard a request from Doctors Ben and Katherine Radcliffe of an urgent need for a teacher for the missionary children at the Kudjip hospital in PNG. After hearing about the need Bob and Gayle prayed about and felt that God wanted them to volunteer. Bob will be teaching at the MK school and Gayle will be an educational consultant to the Nazarene Hospital. They are currently awaiting visas so they can make the trip to serve. God has been evident in amazing ways as He has opened doors and offered confirmation for this serving opportunity.
