Ministry leaders working in two key areas of the country of Georgia are making key connections to help make Christlike disciples and grow the church through a house church moment. They are leading the foundational work of the church through personal contacts, relationship building, small group gatherings, and Bible studies.
Indigenous, Georgian-speaking leadership is a key to success in the places where the church is the strongest in the country. That requires significant time and energy to travel between locations and facilitate consistent contact via digital means. Their frequent presence in homes and familiarity with the people foster a positive atmosphere in the groups, making it easier for people to truly grow in their faith.
Regular, in person contact is a challenge because of the geography, but we must prioritize intentional relationship building, both in person and digitally, to help these groups grow into vibrant house churches in the future.
This project is to support the rent and travel costs, as well as a small monthly stipend, for one leader for one year. The project will be evaluated at the close of the year for effectiveness and any necessary adjustments.
