Missionary Kid Scholarships to Nazarene Youth Conference
Description:
For many missionary kids (MKs), participating in a Nazarene Youth Conference is life-changing. It is when they take important steps in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ completely separate from their parents’ ministry. It is also a time to make friends with other MKs. These friendships are special because they are within a group uniquely suited to understand the joys, quirks and challenges of MK life. Only an MK truly understands MKs!
All high-school aged MKs are invited to participate in the USA/Canada Region NYC happening in July 2023, and there are many who are eligible to attend!
While missionary parents are well-aware of the benefits of attending, for many, it is simply cost-prohibitive with the addition of international travel. On average, it costs $2,000 for an MK to participate in NYC including travel.
This project provides matching scholarships for MKs to attend NYC23 up to $1,000. The goal is to support 50 MKs from around the world, meaning the total need is $50,000. Will you add your gift today?
