Description:

HEAP Ministries, which stands for Healing/Helping and Equipping / Encouraging Alongside Pastors, has served to meet the special needs of pastors in pioneer situations in Brazil since 2014. It helps address financial, physical, emotional and spiritual needs so that pastors are able to focus their efforts on church planting, even in times of crisis.

Since its inception HEAP Ministries has helped provide:

- Medical and emotional care at moments of crisis
- Financial support for emergency medical care
- Emergency financial aid for education
- Counseling for pastors and spouses
- Financial management training
- Spiritual retreats
- Financial aid for some funeral expenses
- Visits to pastors in remote areas by peers sent to offer support and encouragement.

This portion of the project is intended specifically to financially support:

- Sending trained and experienced counselors to visit pastors and their families living in remote locations.
- Promoting and supporting spiritual retreats that offer spiritual and emotional nourishment as well as practical training.
