A 25th anniversary could be a time to reflect on the past, but for South Asian Nazarene Bible College (SANBC) their focus is on the future, working to inspire and empower the church for the next decade.

To commemorate the 25th Anniversary, SANBC will host a Silver Jubilee Vision-Casting Celebration in March 2023. The ten-year vision is to have a rolling registration of 500 students annually in a three-year training program preparing them for ministry. The desired outcome is to train and equip 10,000 pastors and lay leaders in 10 years for India Field and the South Asia Field (Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka).

District Superintendents, district education coordinators, mission leaders, youth and discipleship coordinators, teachers, and instructors are invited to attend the celebration, with the intent of inspiring the church from every level! This focus on sharing the vision with grassroots leaders gives them a chance to share with those they know personally who sense that God is calling them to be pastors.

The $15,000 cost of this project covers expense related to a three-day event hosting invitees in a time of training, inspiration, and equipping to share the vision in each of the 25 districts in South Asia and India. Expenses include travel, lodging, food, materials production, language translation, and meeting supplies.

Following the event, attendees will return to their local districts equipped to be advocates for pastoral/lay education and a sense of empowerment to recruit and help those with a call to ministry. An increase in registration for classes will be an initial measure of success, followed by an increase in ordinations in both fields.
