The Wings of Hope Center offers women and children a safe place to be cared for emotionally, physically and spiritually and equipped with tools and skills to become successful members of the community. It is a safe haven for survivors of gender-based violence as well as the community at large.

Some of the specific activites of the Wings of Hope Center include:
• Business startup training
• Training on sewing and bead making
• Leadership development training
• Psycho-social support and referral networks
• Computer and adult literacy training.

Leaders shared in late 2022 that the tailoring program at the center has been a particular bright spot recently. Over 60 women have been trained and either started their own businesses or joined the production team at the Center. Out of the 2022 cohort, 5 graduates joined the production team in the month of September. In 2022, the production department received two major bulk orders for uniforms from two schools in Lodwar town. The tailoring program provides a source of income for the beneficiaries who are now able to educate their children and provide for their families.
