Marakwet East Church
Description:
Marakwet East Church of the Nazarene began as a child development centre (CDC) where local children came to eat and learn with a Sunday School teacher. Many of these children are living with elderly relatives.
Leaders began leading house to house Bible study fellowships and using evangelism tools from the Jesus Film Ministry. This went on for several months and they began to meet people receptive to the gospel. The church officially was planted in 2017.
The CDC started operating before the church was officially launched; therefore, it is very active. Those involved in the ministry make a point to discuss difficult issues specific to this community with the children.
This project is to support the ministry of this young church as they work to reach their community. Will you be a part of what God is doing through is people in Marakwet?
